Ales or Lagers? Light or dark? Easy-drinking or experimental? Floral or fruity? Belgian or Bock?

These are the big questions. What will you find here?

Big Questions require Great Beer.

Redbone Ale

A malty red ale with moderate hop flavor and aroma. If you like the richness our Irish Red but prefer a more citrusy hop character, this is the beer for you.

ABV: 5.9%
IBU: 24
Available: On Tap, Growler

Oasis Ale

The original "lawnmower beer", this cream ale is perfect on sunny summer afternoons. It’s crisp and light, meant to emulate an American Lager, but with more flavor and character.

ABV: 5.2%
IBU: 13
Available: On Tap, Growler

Hot Springs Lager

This is a delicious Pilsner-style Lager. If you love Pilsners, Mexican Lagers, or our famous “Cosmic Blonde” ale, you’re REALLY gonna love this beer. We used Premium Pilsner malt grown on an American farm, and German finishing hops to provide just enough spice. Plus, we mixed in a healthy dose of T or C’s mineral water for some added local flavor. The result is...magical.

ABV: 5.3%
IBU: 22
Available: On Tap, Growler

Double Wheat

Hazy and light, a little sweet, a little tart, this refreshing American Wheat Beer is outstanding with a slice of lemon or orange.

ABV: 7.5%
IBU: 12
Available: On Tap, Growler

Hibiscus Mint Booch

Very light, tart, refreshing, and a beautiful pink/magenta colored kombucha.

Gunslinger Gold

A high-alcohol, pale, highly-carbonated beer fermented with a Belgian strain of brewer’s yeast. Brewed with barley, wheat, rye, and oats.

ABV: 9.5%
IBU: 28
Available: On Tap, Growler

Big River India Brown Ale

Some say this is the best of both worlds – the body and hops of an IPA, complemented by the balanced chocolate richness of browns and porters.

ABV: 7.5%
IBU: 69
Available: On Tap, Growler

Organic Crystal Ale

Light and refreshing, this British Golden Ale was produced with certified organic pale malt from England, and certified organic Azacca hops. British ale yeast contributes a hint of baking bread to the aroma, and the finishing hops evoke pineapple, guava, and other tropical fruits.

We immersed a four pound crystal in the kettle while making this beer. Were any of its metaphysical properties conferred upon the beer? Have a taste and let us know what you think.

ABV: 4.4%
IBU: 28
Available: On Tap, Growler

Fireside Tripel

A strong pale Belgian ale with mysterious flavors of banana, clove, and pepper. Sucrose (cane sugar) is often added to this style, to lighten body and increase alcohol – we used about 6% sugar and 94% malted barley. German noble hops balance the sweetness, resulting in a strong, warming elixir with plenty of fruity esters and not too sweet.

ABV: 11%
IBU: 25
Available: On Tap (goblet only), Growler

Airstream Ultra

This is our lightest-bodied, lightest-colored beer. At barely 130 calories per pint, Airstream Ultra won't slow or weigh you down. Refreshing, thirst-quenching, and just $3 a pint.

ABV: 4%
IBU: 9
Available: On Tap, Growler

Cosmic Blonde

A light-bodied, straw-colored ale. Delicious and thirst-quenching. This was the first brew, and has become our flagship beer.

ABV: 5.6%
IBU: 15
Available: On Tap, Growler
Logo Torc Circle Grey

Buckhorn IPA

Our first India Pale Ale, this is a rich-bodied beer bursting with citrusy hop flavor but without the powerful hop bitterness commonly associated with the style.

ABV: 7.1%
Available: On Tap, Growler

Palomas Porter

Palomas Porter is a rich, silky American Porter, based on an award-winning recipe created by our brewer and co-owner John Masterson. Hints of chocolate, coffee, and raisin are balanced by a smattering of Cascade hops aroma.

6.3% ABV
29 IBU
Available: On Tap, Growler

Dark Skies Oatmeal Stout

Deep black in color with rich coffee-and-cream flavors. We included flaked oats in the recipe, which adds a smooth, velvety mouthfeel.

6.0% ABV
28 IBU

Rye Pale Ale

A strong Pale Ale with citrus-scented hops and some spiciness from malted rye.

Ruben Moreno's Creole Tio

Houston, Texas native Ruben Moreno sits at the joint of Zydeco and R&B, joining us with his Creole Trio to connect the traditions he was surrounded by while growing up with the constantly changing modern trends of the music’s culture.

His childhood was spent in the company of his grandmother (who owned a bar in the East part of the city) and her friends, many of whom were Zydeco musicians. After picking up the washboard while still very young, Moreno’s musical turning point came when he performed on stage at age 10 with Leroy Thomas. It was an experience that inspired Moreno to focus his energy on becoming a performer and subsequently lead to tours with CJ Chenier and Andre Thierry.

For Moreno, though, it’s about more than just the music. He sees his career as a tool for making the world better, admiring Martin Luther King, Jr. and Bob Marley for using their talents to enable and encourage change.

But he doesn’t let the heavy things get in the way of Zydeco’s natural ability to make you feel good. His 2011 debut Por Ti Volare is full of upbeat, syncopated rhythm and his own soulful voice, with universal themes of love and heartbreak.

Nathan Kalish & The Lastcallers

Nathan Kalish is a touring singer-songwriter and band leader from the American Midwest, currently calling Nashville home after having spent most of the last decade on the road. His latest album 'I Want to Believe' was produced by David Beeman (notably of Pokey LaFarge’s most recent) and is an independently released country-Americana record with a tip of the hat to psychedelic, folk and rock ‘n roll. The songs vary from wistful introspect to knee-slapping social commentary while managing to keep a cohesive familiarity recognizable to fans and followers.

Maria Muldaur in Concert @ T or C Civic Center

Maria Muldaur is best known worldwide for her 1974 mega-hit "Midnight at the Oasis," which received several Grammy nominations, and enshrined her forever in the hearts of Baby Boomers everywhere; but despite her considerable pop music success, her 50-year career could best be described a long and adventurous odyssey through the various forms of American Roots Music. During the folk revival of the early '60s, she began exploring and singing early Blues, Bluegrass and Appalachian "Old Timey" Music, beginning her recording career in 1963 with the Even Dozen Jug Band and shortly thereafter, joining the very popular Jim Kweskin Jug Band, touring and recording with them throughout the '60s.

In the 44 years since "Midnight at the Oasis," Maria has toured extensively worldwide and has recorded 40 solo albums covering all kinds of American Roots Music, including Gospel, R&B, Jazz and Big Band (not to mention several award-winning children's albums). She has now settled comfortably into her favorite idiom, the Blues. Often joining forces with some of the top names in the business, Maria has recorded and produced on-average an album per year, several of which have been nominated for Grammies and other awards.

"Within one's lifetime, there will only be only a few rare vocalists who hit the peak of success, remain there for decades, and produce works that last eternally. Maria Muldaur is such an artist. Her work is not only eternal, but so are the classic forms she interprets, from folk to jug band, jazz to blues... Her divine voice just gets better with age... Perfect pitch, excellent phrasing, and deep interpretive powers have made her one of the finest vocalists of her era." (Jazz Elements)

Fresh off their "I got Soul" tour, T or C's own Moody Little Sister will open the show.

Purchase Tickets at T or C Brewing, Sierra County Sentinel/KCHS or online.
